Building on an established presence across the DACH region, this agreement gives Swiss pharmaceutical and nutraceutical manufacturers direct access to Innophos' high-performance phosphate portfolio, supported by Safic-Alcan's local commercial and technical expertise.
Innophos offers a comprehensive range of specialty phosphates engineered to meet the exacting standards of pharmaceutical and nutraceutical formulators. The portfolio distributed by Safic-Alcan in Switzerland covers three key product ranges:
- Tab® Products (granular grade): designed for direct compression applications, delivering excellent flowability and compressibility for solid dosage manufacturing at an industrial scale.
- Calipharm® (powder grade): a versatile, multi-purpose grade adapted to a wide range of oral solid dosage forms including chewable tablets, offering formulators flexibility across their development pipeline.
- Co-Processed product range (like A-Tab® MD): a next-generation multifunctional excipient combining several functionalities in a single ingredient — simplifying formulations, reducing processing steps, and optimizing solid dosage performance.

The distribution agreement is effective immediately.
