Safic’Active 2026: Walking Together for a Good Cause

This year, we're proud to unite once again — over 1,000 Safic-Alcan employees worldwide, alongside our valued partners and clients — for a common purpose. Wherever we are, whatever we do, we're stepping up together to make a real difference for those affected by cancer.

Because when we walk as one, our impact multiplies.

Last year, together, we walked an incredible 63,263,700 steps — the equivalent of climbing the Eiffel Tower 1.5 million times! Those steps helped us support Imagine for Margo – Children without Cancer, a foundation dedicated to fighting childhood cancer.

This year, we're aiming even higher — for a new cause, La Ligue contre le cancer.

What is Safic'Active?

Safic'Active is Safic-Alcan's annual global walking challenge, bringing together employees, customers, and partners around the world for one shared purpose: supporting a good cause, one step at a time.

After the incredible momentum of Think Pink and Safic'Olympics, we're back with a new edition — and this year, we're inviting you to step up for a cause that matters.

Who are we supporting this year? 💙 

This year, every step of Safic'Active supports La Ligue contre le cancer. 

Founded in 1918, La Ligue contre le cancer is one of France's oldest and most respected charities in the fight against cancer. For over a century, it has stood beside patients and their families, funded research, and worked to prevent the disease and protect those affected by it. 

Their mission rests on four pillars: 

• Research — funding advances in how cancer is understood, detected, and treated 

• Support — standing by patients and their loved ones at every stage of the journey 

• Prevention — helping people reduce their risk through awareness and education 

• Mobilization — bringing society together in the fight against cancer
