Paris–La Défense – May 1, 2020 – Safic-Alcan, an international distributor of specialty chemicals, is pleased to announce the extension of its exclusive distribution agreement with Tronox for the full range of TiONA® titanium dioxide (TiO₂) pigments in the Benelux and Turkey.
The agreement became effective on April 1, 2020 for the Benelux region and May 1, 2020 for Turkey.
TiONA® Titanium Dioxide Pigments for High-Performance Applications
Globally recognized for their quality and reliability, TiONA® titanium dioxide pigments have been used for decades by manufacturers in coatings, inks, plastics, rubber, paper, and other industrial applications. These pigments deliver outstanding performance in terms of opacity, brightness, durability, and consistency.
Strengthening a Long-Standing Partnership with Tronox
This extended agreement further strengthens Safic-Alcan’s position as a key distributor of titanium dioxide pigments in Europe and Turkey and builds on the partnership already established in France.
The collaboration reflects the long-standing relationship between Safic-Alcan and Tronox, which dates back to the 1980s, and is further reinforced following Tronox’s acquisition of Cristal, the Saudi-based leading producer of titanium chemicals.
