June 22, 2021 – Safic-Alcan, a global distributor of specialty chemicals, is pleased to announce the extension of its distribution agreement with PMC Organometallix Inc. to include the African continent.
PMC Organometallix, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of PMC Group, N.A., Inc., has expanded its existing partnership with Safic-Alcan to strengthen coverage across the EMEA region.
Effective immediately, Safic-Alcan will serve as an authorized distributor of PMC Organometallix’s FASCAT® catalysts and fine chemicals in Africa.
FASCAT® Catalysts for High-Performance Industrial Applications
FASCAT® catalysts are inorganic and organometallic tin-based compounds known for delivering optimal conversion and curing characteristics. These organometallic materials play an essential role in a wide range of industrial applications, including:
- Synthetic lubricants
- Monomeric and polymeric ester synthesis
- Automotive e-coat
- Crosslinking of siloxanes
- Urethanes
- Chemical intermediates
This expanded agreement supports growing demand for advanced catalyst solutions and reinforces Safic-Alcan’s ability to provide customers with strong technical and commercial support locally.
