Safic-Alcan, a global distributor of specialty chemicals, is pleased to announce the extension of its long-standing distribution agreement with Nouryon, a global leader in specialty chemicals. Effective January 1st, 2023, Safic-Alcan will distribute Nouryon’s Perkadox® and Trigonox® organic crosslinking peroxides across an expanded European territory.
This renewed agreement significantly broadens the geographical scope of the partnership, extending Safic-Alcan’s distribution responsibilities beyond the UK, Ireland, and Portugal to include a wide range of European countries. As a result, Safic-Alcan becomes Nouryon’s sole distributor for polymer crosslinking peroxides in more than 40 European markets.
Perkadox® and Trigonox® organic peroxides play a critical role in the crosslinking of plastics and rubber, enabling the production of high-performance end products for demanding applications. These include automotive components, power cables, industrial hoses, footwear, and a wide variety of molded rubber and plastic goods.
By combining Nouryon’s industry-leading peroxide technologies with Safic-Alcan’s extensive European distribution network, customers will benefit from enhanced technical support, formulation expertise, regulatory guidance, and reliable supply across the region.
