Paris-La Défense, November 7, 2025 – Safic-Alcan, a leading global distributor of specialty chemicals, is pleased to announce the expansion of its long-standing distribution partnership with SI Group, a world leader in performance additives, process solutions, and chemical intermediates.
Effective January 1, 2026, Safic-Alcan will extend its distribution of SI Group’s Antioxidants portfolio for the Adhesives market to several key European territories.
Covered Regions by the Distribution Agreement
This new agreement further strengthens the strategic collaboration between the two companies. Safic-Alcan already distributes SI Group’s Resins for the Rubber and Adhesives markets, as well as Antioxidants for Rubber, across Europe, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, and Egypt. With this expansion, Safic-Alcan will now distribute SI Group’s Antioxidants for Adhesives in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, the Nordic and Baltic countries, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Benelux, the UK & Ireland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, the Adriatic region, Bulgaria, Greece, the Middle East, and Egypt.
By adding Antioxidants for the Adhesives segment to its existing specialty additives portfolio, Safic-Alcan enhances its capability to offer customers a comprehensive range of high-performance additive solutions, improving formulation efficiency, product stability, and sustainability. This expanded product offering enables customers to benefit from a single, reliable distributor with deep technical expertise and access to SI Group’s advanced chemistry.
