This acquisition marks a major step in Safic-Alcan’s geographical diversification and its long-term strategy to strengthen its footprint in key emerging markets.
The integration of Proquimil will be led by Luiz Maranho, a seasoned executive in the chemical distribution sector, who recently joined the group as General Manager of Safic-Alcan Brasil, the newly created subsidiary based in São Paulo.
