Paris-La Défense, November 2025 – Safic-Alcan is pleased to announce the results of its 2025 EcoVadis assessment, achieving an overall score of 82/100, a +5-point improvement compared to 2024 (77/100). This performance places Safic-Alcan among the top 2% of companies assessed, resulting in the renewal of its Gold Medal.
EcoVadis is the world’s leading provider of business sustainability ratings, assessing more than 130,000 companies across environmental performance, ethical business conduct, labor & human rights, and sustainable procurement. Earning a Gold rating reflects a consistently high level of maturity across these pillars and reinforces Safic-Alcan’s long-term commitment to responsible business practices.
Key highlights of the 2025 assessment
Safic-Alcan demonstrated strong performance across all four EcoVadis pillars:
- Environment: 79/100 with an “Advanced” Carbon Management level
- Labor & Human Rights: 80/100
- Ethics: 85/100
- Sustainable Procurement: 83/100
These results reflect a mature and integrated sustainability approach, combining comprehensive policies, robust operational measures, and verified reporting practices. They are reinforced by internationally recognized local certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001), global initiatives such as the UN Global Compact, and the creation in 2024 of a dedicated Compliance Committee to strengthen governance and compliance across the Group.
