La Défense, Paris – April 30 2025 – Safic-Alcan, a global distributor of specialty chemicals, announces the opening of a new office in Zagreb, Croatia, under its newly created entity Safic-Alcan Hrvatska d.o.o.
This expansion strengthens Safic-Alcan’s strategic footprint in the Balkans, reinforcing its commitment to Southern and Eastern Europe. The new entity enhances local distribution, technical service, and proximity for partners and customers in Croatia and Slovenia.
The Croatian subsidiary will operate across all Safic-Alcan business segments – Food, Home Care, Nutraceuticals, CASE, Personal Care, Pharmaceuticals, Industrial Chemicals, Polyurethane, Rubber, and Plastics – offering tailor-made solutions and reliable supply-chain support.
Operations in Croatia will be supported by the regional team based in Serbia, part of Safic-Alcan Adriatic, which continues to coordinate development across Slovenia and Croatia.
The launch aligns with Safic-Alcan’s European growth strategy, focusing on regional presence, innovation, and customer responsiveness, while maintaining the Group’s global scale and reliability.
