UNIONTOWN, OH, 2022 — ChemSpec North America, a leading specialty chemical distributor and subsidiary of Safic-Alcan, has entered into a strategic distribution agreement with Belgium-based Nanocyl SA, a global leader in multiwall carbon nanotube (MWCNT) products, to serve customers across the United States and Canada.
This partnership strengthens both companies’ ability to deliver high-performance, sustainable nanomaterials to polymer and elastomer formulators.
Multiwall Carbon Nanotubes for Industrial Polymer and Elastomer Applications
Through this agreement, ChemSpec North America will distribute Nanocyl’s innovative MWCNT product lines:
- NC7000™ - Standard multiwall carbon nanotubes designed to enhance conductivity, mechanical strength, and thermal performance in polymers.
- Plasticyl™- MWCNTs pre-dispersed on a thermoplastic carrier, facilitating easier incorporation into thermoplastic formulations.
- Elastocyl™- MWCNTs on an elastomer carrier, providing superior reinforcement and conductivity for elastomeric applications.
