La Défense, France – June 24th, 2025 – Safic-Alcan, a global leader in the distribution of specialty chemicals, is pleased to announce an extended distribution agreement with Evonik’s Smart Effects Division.
Effective July 1st, 2025, Safic-Alcan will expand the distribution of Evonik’s Dynasylan® and Protectosil® functional silanes to Central Eastern Europe and the Baltics, reinforcing a long-standing partnership between the two companies.
This agreement builds on an established collaboration already successful in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.
The new scope now includes Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, and Slovenia.
Evonik’s functional silanes are high-performance additives used across a variety of industries, helping formulators achieve greater durability, improved adhesion, and enhanced sustainability.
The Dynasylan® and Protectosil® brands are widely recognized in paints & coatings, construction chemicals, adhesives & sealants, fiberglass, foundry, and rubber applications, where silane chemistry contributes to improved performance and longevity.
