Toronto, February 14, 2022 – ChemSpec Canada, Inc., a subsidiary of the Safic-Alcan Group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Bassem Soss Khalifa as Regional Account Manager, responsible for the Eastern Canada territory.
Bassem brings more than 14 years of international sales experience within the chemical industry, reinforcing ChemSpec Canada’s commitment to delivering high-value technical and commercial support to its customers. His expertise spans coatings, plastics, consumer products, and personal care, aligning seamlessly with ChemSpec’s diversified specialty chemicals portfolio.
Prior to joining ChemSpec Canada, Bassem held the position of Regional Sales Manager at WACKER Chemicals in Dubai. His professional background also includes sales roles at Clariant and BASF, where he developed strong competencies in market development, customer engagement, and strategic account management.
Bassem holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, speaks three languages fluently, and has completed numerous continuing education programs, further strengthening his ability to support ChemSpec’s customers in a technically demanding and evolving market.
