Diem Demirci is a Technical Sales specialist in the Rubber team for the DACH region, bringing together technical knowledge, customer proximity and a strong sense of teamwork. She joined Safic-Alcan in 2007, after gaining initial experience in sales of cosmetic raw materials, looking for a new challenge in a more technical and industrial environment.

Since joining Safic-Alcan Germany, Diem has grown within the Rubber sales team, appreciating both the technical depth of the role and the strong human dimension of the company.

Working in a close-knit industry

For Diem, the rubber industry is a small but dynamic world, where relationships matter and long-term collaboration is key. Conferences, fairs, customer visits and daily exchanges are all opportunities to strengthen trust and share expertise.

She particularly values the team spirit within the DACH Rubber sales team, where regular meetings allow team members to exchange on projects, support each other technically and move forward collectively.

Life beyond work

Outside of work, Diem discovered a passion for photography during the Covid period. Walking in nature and capturing details she once overlooked has become a source of balance and inspiration. Photography has also heightened her awareness of environmental protection and sustainability — values she considers essential both personally and professionally.
